New crustacean species from Antarctica

The image is a black and white drawing of how the animal would look like in life. It is a lobster, with a large cephalothorax, long antennae, and chelae. There are 3 pairs of pereopods, limbs used for walking, and other, smaller pleopods, used for swimming.

Dr. Figueiredo and Dr. Rodrigues coauthored a paper describing a new species of lobster from the Upper Cretaceous of James Ross island, Antarctica. Hoploparia echinata is known by two specimens, one of them a fossilized molt. Available here.
